Pelin sankari asuu pienessä kylässä nimeltä Esthar. Eräänä kauniina päivänä kuuluu läheisiltä vuorilta kummia. Kylän läpi kantautuu huhu, jonka mukaan vuorilla asuva velho on seonnut ja yrittää loitsuillaan pimentää auringon. Velho onnistuukin aikeissaan ja pimentää auringon 222:ksi päiväksi. Ainoa tapa saada aurinko taas esille on surmata ilkeä velho. Sankarimme ottaa haasteen vastaan ja joutuu huimiin seikkailuihin.
