I don't want to bore you, so let's skip all comments about the
voting and go to the figures...

Votes: ONLY 108 (almost 100 votes were given using WWW form)

Most voters were into PC (as you see):

Amiga PC Amiga & PC Something else
      ---------------------------------------------
       31,5% 47,2% 20,4% O,9%

The votes came from (according to the headers):

      .fi 76
      unknown 12
      .se 4
      .de 3
      .au 3
      .dk 2
      .no 2

      .sg 1

    PC competition machine:

       486/66 486/100 P5/75 P5/90 I don't know/care
      ------------------------------------------------------
        25,9% 27,8% 7,4% 25,0% 13,9%

It seems that people prefer 486 over P5 and it's not surprising.
The most usual comment was something like "Making demos on P5
is too easy" and "It doesn't require any talent".
But as you can see, 25% of the voters prefer P5/90. We can't
ignore that fact. It made our job (deciding the competition
machine) a lot harder, but finally we decided to make a compro-
mise between 486 and P5... And we are going to use 486/120.

    Amiga competition machine:

       A1200 w/ turbo A4000 I don't know/care
      --------------------------------------------
            60,2% 25,9% 13,9%

The choice was very obvious; turbo-boosted A1200 is more popular
than A4000. The criticism we received was about our intention to
      use A1200/060.

    Other interesting observations:
Most Amiga users who had an opinion about PC competition machine,
thought that 486/66 is enough. And most people who were into both
Amiga and PC, thought that P5/90 is a perfect competition machine.
Any explanations (send them to makrus@iki.fi)?

  Abduction Organizing thanks all voters.
