Description:

    "Dingy!" was an attempt at making a tetris-like game - with a different
kind of SPIN to it ; )

    Being the first game either of us had ever developed... we didn't know
what to do with it. The controls I've implemented might seem a little
difficult at first...

    Skill only gets you so far with this game - because there's an element
to it that can make it all come down to the luck of the draw.

    I very recently pulled Dingy out of cobwebs, and worked on it quite a
bit... IT'S A WINDOWS 95 GAME... The screen gets streaked up when I run
this under Windows 3.1

    I hope you like it! - and if you do PLEASE REGISTER IT.

VALIDATION SUITE: (or system requirements)
==========================================

PC or Compatible (486DX or better)
WINDOWS 95
Monitor
VGA Card or better
a mouse...

  - NOTE: YOUR DISPLAY PROPERTIES FONT SIZE SETTINGS NEED TO BE SET TO THE
                                  =========
DEFAULT 'SMALL FONTS' FOR THE GAME TO APPEAR CORRECTLY!
         ===========
I'VE RUN IT IN BOTH 640X480 MODE AND 800X600 MODE WITH "SMALL FONTS"
AND IT RAN FINE ON SEVERAL MACHINES... NOT SO WITH LARGE FONTS (THE FONTS
I USE IN THE GAME ARE BIG ENOUGH ANYWAY! ; )

Installation Instructions:

   A. Unzip DINGY.ZIP to a temporary directory [ex.: C:\DINGYTMP]

   B. Under WINDOWS 95 - run the SETUP.EXE program that should be in
the temporary directory you unzipped DINGY.ZIP to.

   C. I would suggest that, during setup, you keep the default
install directory unchanged... but you may change it - let me
know if it works...

   D. AFTER SETUP IS COMPLETE - SIMPLY DELETE THE TEMPORARY DIRECTORY,
AND ALL IT'S CONTENTS.

   E. Finally - play, and hopefully, enjoy Dingy!

NOTE: This .TXT file and another called README.TXT, which tells you a little
more about the game, and a sample registration form REGISTER.TXT are
included in the .ZIP file...
