Might and Magic VI Saved Game Editor v3.6
-----------------------------------------

Welcome to Might and Magic VI Saved Game
Editor! I'm Elrond Elvish. Thanks for
using my software.

Features
--------

v3.6 Fix (THE DOH! DEPARTMENT)
------------------------------
Fixed the STUPID age bug I had when the
year was 1165. It made the editor think
the game year was 0! That saved your
characters age as 900+, etc.. DOH!
Thanks to Andy Berko (aka Grimlocke) for
pointing this out to me and sending his
saved game... You da Man, Andy ;-)
Otherwise, this release as exactly the
same as v3.5.

New! Works great with the Might and
      Magic VI v1.1 Update!

New! Can view the In Game Name and Date
      when opening your saved games!

New! Can now edit: In Game Date & Time,
      Game Name, Character Condition and
      has numerous display fixes (works
      fine in 640x480 now)

New! Lots of minor bug fixes - Read
      Revision History below for complete
      update)

The editor is divided into five main
parts:

1 - Party Editing:

Resource editing allows you to get 2+
  Million units of:

    - Money
    - Money in the Bank
    - Food

Party editing allows you to change:

    - In Game Date
    - In Game Time
    - In Game Name

2 - Full Blown Item Editor!:

The Character Item Editor allows you to
add enchantments to your items that are
  enchantable. You can add enchantments,
or change the existing enchantments on
  an item.

You can also convert any item into any
other item (* See Notes below). This
FINALLY allows you to get past the bugs
in MM6 that didn't allow you to finish
  certain dungeons!

For example, you might want to turn a
  cheap	scroll into Gharik's Laboratory
  Key!

With the Item Editor you can:

    - Works fine now in 640x480 and most
      large font displays

    - View your backpack and see where all
your items are located! Makes it
easier to convert items from one to
      another

    - Change the charges of wands and the
amount in any gold piles you are
      carrying

    - Change the status of items such as
Broken or unidentified to fixed and
      identified

    - Enchant items with over 59 individual
      enchantments

    - Thousands of combinations with the
      Strength of enchantment!

    - Convert your lousy items into
      Artifacts, Relics or just better
      items

    - Convert an item into a Quest Item
      that you are missing!

    - View your items that your characters
can't view because of their level

3 - Character Editing:

The Character Editor allows you to edit
  virtually all the character abilities
and stats. The allowed values have
been lowered to values Doug Kelly
tracked down from 3DO for me!

Evidently, 400+ stats and 60+k in
HP/SP is the maximum the game can
  handle. Thanks Doug!

  This includes:

    - Character Condition

    - Character Class
      (Switch your Character's Class and
      Rank!)

    - Character Picture

    - Might
    - Intellect
    - Personality
    - Endurance
    - Accuracy
    - Speed
    - Luck
    - Age
    - up to 255 in all stats above
      (Both the current and permanent
      values)

    - Experience
    - up to 255+ Million

    - Skill Points
    - up to 255

    - Level
    - up to 255

    - Current Hit and Spell Points
    - up to 60 Thousand
(Temporarily boost your Hit and Spell
      Points!)

    - Current Armor Class
    - up to 255

    - Age and temporary Age

    - Fire Resistance
    - Cold Resistance
    - Electricity Resistance
    - Poison Resistance
    - Magic Resistance
    - up to 255
      (Both the current and permanent
      values)

4 - Skill Editing:

    - Add or remove all the possible Skills
      for example:

    - Weapons [Sword, Bow, etc]
    - Armor [Shield, Plate, etc]
    - Magic [Light, Dark, etc]
    - Misc [Merchant, Disarm Trap, etc]
    - Up to Level 60!

    - Pick from Normal, Expert and Master
      for all Skills

5 - Spell Book Editing:

    - Add or remove all the possible Spells

    - 99 possible Spells available in 7
      magic classes such as:

    - Dark Magic [Dragon Breath, etc]
    - Water Magic [Lloyd's Beacon, etc]

* Item Editing Notes
--------------------

The backpack has been added. You
can view the placement of your items
now. It isn't exactly the game
graphics, but its much better than
flying blind ;-)

I have also squished the bug that, when
converting items from large to small,
the game still thought the original
larger item was there.

There is still a bit of a warning,
however:

USING THE ITEM EDITOR WILL MAKE THE GAME
BELIEVE THAT EACH OF YOUR ITEMS ONLY
TAKES UP 1 SQUARE!

[THE UPPER LEFT HAND CORNER OF THE ITEM]

AS SOON AS YOU MOVE AN ITEM AGAIN, THE
GAME SEES HOW BIG IT IS AND RESTORES IT
TO ITS ORIGINAL SIZE.

This allows items to actually be placed
on top of one another! This is
temporary and is only in effect until
you move the item. Then, as I said
before, the game remembers how big it is
again.

After converting even one item, the game
believes ALL items are tiny. To grab
any item after a conversion, pick it up
by its upper left hand corner. Then,
place it anywhere as usual.

This is actually kinda kewl, because you
can fit more items than is normally
possible into your backpack, by
overlapping them. Be careful, however,
not to place the upper left corner of
any item on top of the upper left corner
of any other item! This WILL crash the
game.

WHEN CONVERTING, THE SIZE OF ITEMS NO
LONGER MATTERS! WHOOO HOOOO! You can
now convert a smaller item into a larger
item!

Converting items that your character has
equipped (is wearing) now works properly
too. But, be careful not to convert an
item into something that doesn't match
where the item is being worn. (eg: don't
convert a Long Sword into a Ring or a
Bow). Doing this WILL crash the game.
Size doesn't matter for items that are
equipped.

Since there are so many combinations of
items, I of course have not tested every
enchantment on every item. I have
tested a ton of them though, and they
seem to work great.
