'Shap Luk Kon Tseung Kwan' v1.0s is a 256 color shareware version of
the ancient Chinese strategy game of 'Sixteen pursue the General'.
It was popular among Chinese laborers in China in the 1870s, but it
is much older than this -- as old as 1000 AD. or before.
Welcome to a game of the ancient Chinese -- countless common laborers,
peasants, merchants, children, miners, railroad workers, and now you!

Shap Luk is written in Visual Basic 3.0. As such it
requires that VBRUN300.DLL exists in your Windows System directory.

To install Shap Luk, please do the following:

1. Check that VBRUN300.DLL is in your Windows System directory. If not,
please download a copy (there should be a copy at the site from which
you downloaded SHAP.ZIP, or you can get it from my homepage above).

2. Create a directory SHAP.

3. Copy all the files 'unzipped' from SHAP.ZIP
   to this new SHAP directory.

4. Create a program manager icon for SHAP.EXE by adding it as a file
in your GAMES program manager group.

That's it.

Thanks for trying SHAP LUK. I hope it's challenging, fun, and
educational at the same time.

Steve
