* Construction *

Editor(s) used          : Worldcraft
Build time : around 15 hours
Known Bugs : I used to know a cockroach
                           named Archie... Actually, I
                           placed a few adversaries in
                           some tight places, so you'll
                           get some "walkmonster in wall
                           at:" messages when you load
                           the map. Ignore this stuff.
                           (Not to worry. Everything
                           comes out in the wash!)

* Instructions *

  1. Put "crypt.bsp" in your quake/id1/maps directory.
     (If you don't have a quake/id1/maps directory,
     make one now.)
  2. Start the game. From the pulldown (press ~), type
     "map crypt".

* Misc. Info *

Thanks for playing The Black Crypt. I hope you found it
a challenging and fun. I was learning (Duh?) as I
went along, this being my first effort for QUAKE, so if
things seem to meander, well... All in all, the "wad"
turned out pretty well, I think. There's actually a
story here (it evolved during the build) but I won't
bother you with it in print. Just play the darn level!
I played it about fifty times during testing, and I
STILL think it's fun! Anyhow, email me if you have
comments or gripes.

--Level Makers Only--
And yes, it is a DARK level. Haven't you heard about
these stories of VIS taking HOURS (even DAYS) to
run? (Whew!) My VIS (full) ran in just under 2 min. on a
Pentium 133/16mb RAM machine, and I'm pleased as punch.
