Fantasy General Army Editor, Version 1.01

This utility lets you edit your Fantasy General armies in standard campaign
game save game files. It does not work on quick.sav files, so don't try it.
This editor was written in VB 4.0 , the 32 bit edition, so it will only work
in Win 95 (or perhaps Win 3.1X with the 32 bit extensions, I dunno) and Win
NT.

While I know writing it in VB for Win 95 decreases the audience size quite a
bit, it results in a much more user friendly interface and being much easier
to write.

Right now, there are only 3 things you can edit. The Army Type, the Magic
Item an army has, and the experience of the army. It also displays the number
of kills a unit has.

Army Type - A number from 0 to about 255. In actuality, don't go above 180 or
so. I'm still working on the complete army list. While some follow the
natural progression of the grades, it sometimes doesn't. See Army Text for a
preliminary list of army types. In the final, registered version, the army
type selection will be accomplished by a pull down menu.

Army Experience - The more the experience, the better the unit fights. Since
I don't know the upper limit yet, I imposed a max of 5000.

Army Magic Item - a pull down list box of the magic items to add.

Even if you don't want to use this program to cheat, you can use it to
upgrade beast/mech units a level, give yourself a hero, or the most fun,
what I mostly use it for, give myself some evil type units. My favorite is
the Witch of Icethorn.

This program may work on PBM saved games, but, I haven't tried it yet.

I can be reached via email at thedeadman@msn.com, if you have questions or
have problems with it, or if you would be interested in the registered version

Disclaimer - while it's been tested thoroughly, back up you save game files
before editing (the registered version does it automatically). Furthermore,
I will not be held liable for any damage this program may cause.
