GP2Tuner v1.0 -The Official Readme File!
   =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

This program merely interprets the relationships between
setup adjustments and resulting effects as outlined in
the car setup section of the MicroProse GP2 manual. IT IS
NOT GUARANTEED TO SOLVE ALL YOUR PROBLEMS! <gg>

I thought that this program might help GP2 racers (both fast
and not-so-fast) when trying to solve car performance
problems. The basis of the program is simple:

1.You describe the problems you are having.

2.The program lists the possible adjustments
that *might* help solve the problems you
described, along with some indication of
how many other things you might screw up by
   making that adjustment.

3.The program puts this listing in a file
called GP2TREP.TXT. **When you run the file it will
AUTOMATICALLY OVERWRITE the existing GP2REP.TXT file!**

The program in its current stage does not do any further
optimization. Its up to you to decide which solution(s)
you want to try. The number of side-effects is only a
*very* general indication of which is the best solution.
Different setup adjustments have different degrees of
effectiveness. This is beyond the limit of my car setup
know-how (just look at my lap times! <gg>)

----Note to Interested Parties-----

-> I hacked this together pretty quickly as just a DOS
program. If there is someone who wants to put a nice
face (ie:windows) on it, feel free.

-> I took a small course in knowledge based systems back
in school, but it didn't really help me much here. If
there is anyone who is interested in this and thinks
they can better optimize the solution please contact
   me and go right ahead.

ENJOY THE PROGRAM! I HOPE IT HELPS!
