 1.0 Introduction

    "Tm peli iskee pelaajaan kuin atomipommi Hiroshimaan ja jtt viel
  aidontuntuisen ydinlaskeuman!"

  No, not really. This is just something I've developed (?) from Flare.

  System requirements:
    MSDOS with some EMS and conv. memory
    Keyboard with functional esc, enter, o and arrow keys
    Pentium 120 MHz (yes, it also WORKS on slower computers)


 2.0 The game

  Your goal is simply to destroy everything.

  If you want to combine two hiscore lists (REIGN.HSC) just type:
  copy REIGN.HSC + <second list file name>


 2.1 Game modes

  The other two game modes aren't quite finished, but Arena mode seems to
  work just fine.


 2.2 Controls/keys

  For no sounds run Reign with nosound option, like:
   REIGN nosound

  Press o for options, esc to end the game.
  There also is a cheat key combination. "[12]vtvv" could help you
  figuring it out..

  1. player keys:

   Turn left:   Left arrow
   Turn right:  Right arrow
   Thrust:      Up arrow
   "Brakes"     Down arrow
   Fire:        Enter

  2. player keys:

   Turn left:   a
   Turn right:  d
   Thrust:      w
   "Brakes"     s
   Fire:        Tab
   

 2.3 Weapons

  There are 11 weapons in the game. Just collect those coins you
  sooner or later see after destroying an enemy, and you may get a
  new weapon or some energy.


 2.4 Bugs

  Sounds sound not-what-they-should after playing a while. I have no idea
  why they do so. No, I DO know why they do so, but I DO NOT know what
  'causes them to do so. Whatever.


 2.5 Sources

  If you are really interested in game programming, just ask me, and I'll
  upload you the Reign sources. As mentioned below, I made this game
  with Borland Pascal 7.0 + asm.
  

 3.0 The end

  This is the end.

  Hmm.. did I almost forget something? Oh yes, I am not responsible of any
  damage that this game here might cause or has already caused. And you
  cannot charge, like, money or anything of this game. That's 'bout it.

  C: The sound system sucks!
  A: Yes, I know, - I made it myself.

  C: There is a page exception bug causin' the game stall or causin' the
       sound effects or graphics to...bug or whatever.
  A: Yes, I've noticed it too.

  C: But..
  A: Couldn't care the less.

  Q: Why are you being so.. Why don't you just fix the bugs?
  A: Because I am TIRED of programming realmode software, and have already
     started programming with Watcom C++, which btw has some major advantages
     compared to Borland Pascal 7.0 with which I made this game.

  Q: How can _I_ affect the future projects of yours?
  A: I you have game ideas, comments about my products, bug reports or
     anything just e-mail me. Especially I would want to hear some cool new
     game ideas 'n stuff, but even if you have nothing to say you can tell it
     to me anyway :)
