-= Gamma Othello v1.0 ReadMe -file =-

[GENERAL]

- The game is developed with DJGPP v2.0
- It requires the cwsdpmi.exe to work. Cwsdpmi.exe is
a DOS extender similar to dos4gw.exe.
- The Game uses "The Sound-Blaster Library for DJGPP v2
  -version 0.5" copyright (C) 1995, Joel H. Hunter.
- Gamma Othello v1.0 is FREEWARE. Feel free to copy it
  further.

[SETTING UP SFX]

- Only SoundBlaster -family (+compatibles) is supported.
If you are using some other card run the game with
  -nosound parameter. Like this:

  type: othello -nosound [ENTER]

- If you are a SoundBlaster (or compatible) owner:
- type: setup [ENTER]

This executes the setup program. Follow the instructions
given in the program. The program allows you to change
the DMA channel (this usually 1).

- Ensure that the BLASTER enviroment variable is set in your
autoexec.bat. The game reads your IRQ and I/O addres values
directly from there. If the enviroment variable isn't set you
must add the following line to your autoexec.bat:

	SET BLASTER = A220 I5 D1 T4

Of course, you have to replace the string 'A220 I5 D1 T4' with
  your own values.

- Note that you have to do these things only once.

- volume can be adjusted from the game itself. It's under the
  settings menu.
