LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR FMOD SOURCES AND MUSIC SYSTEM ROUTINES
       ============================================================

"Digital MultiFormat music system for the Gravis UltraSound (tm) Sound Card."

FireMOD is generally free for use in anyone's programs who wants too, and is
released for public/private use under the following conditions which MUST be
adhered to under the general protection acts of copyright.
FireMOD and sources within are copyright (c) Brett Paterson, 1995.

                             --:Modifications:--
- Source code can be modified as long as the source code is not redistributed
in any fasion, on any form of media or transmission.
- If you want source code to be modified and redistributed, then it MUST go
through me first. Any modified sources included in the files PLAYER.CPP,
LOADER.CPP, GUS.ASM/GUS.CPP or FMOD.CPP, must be checked with me first, and
upon agreed terms by myself, I will allow redistribution as an update to
the source code for fmod. Credits will go to any person who does make a
modification which is seen to be beneficial to the end product, FireMOD.

--:Conditions and Terms of use in a program:--
- 'Freeware or private use' products - For non profit use, where the end
product or program is not intended to make any money, then the FireMOD
replay system can be used without any restrictions aside from those
restrictions placed upon by the modification rules stated above. It is
free to use in your own productions as long as the product is classed as a
  free demo or 'freeware'

- 'Shareware' products - This next class is where the end product or program
is released as shareware and asks for a registration fee or monetary
contribution to use the product. In this case a fee of $AU 50 (Australian)
must be sent to myself, Brett Paterson at the contact address given below.

- 'Commercial' products - In this category where the developer intends to
make a profit by selling the product, then a fee of $AU 500 (Australian)
must be sent to the author, and confirmation made by myself in reply that
the payment has been made. This price is quite cheap considering other
systems can cost thousands of dollars.

- For further clarifications questions can be directed to myself at the
  contact addresses below.

                              --:Distribution:--
- The source code within this package, including the files PLAYER.CPP,
LOADER.CPP, GUS.ASM/GUS.CPP and FMOD.CPP, cannot be redistributed in any
form than it's original form, which is as source packaged with the file
  fmoddoc2.zip, the modcoders document.
- Source MAY be distributed under certain conditions which must be agreed
upon by me, and can be done so by contacting me at the supplied email or
  postal addresses.

                             --:Registration:--
- It is encouraged that you register your copy by sending $AU 25
(the $5 is for disk & p/h) to me. I have spent many hours working on
FireMOD, and any such contributions would be appreciated for a poor guy
like me :) Also write a small letter and what you intend to use fmod
  source, tutorials, or executable for.
- Registering would include updates to current documents and the music system.
These updates would include things like XM support, and other new features.
Details should be sought if unsure by mailing me at the following addresses.
