GENERAL INFORMATION
-------------------

This document describe the software setup procedure for installation
Tiger Jet PCI ISDN Modem in the Window NT 4.0 X86 system. For the 
hardware installation procedure, please refer to the user manual.
This is the Beta release version. Please report any questions and 
problems to info@tigerjet.com


If you installed NDISWAN or CAPI driver before, please
de-install before you install this version of driver.

The NDISWAN and CAPI 2.0 driver has been combined in this
version. The CAPI driver supports SoftFax, Voice Mail,
PPP/MLPPP, CAPI modem, Transfer Host/BBS.

PREPARATION
-----------

Before you install, make sure you have the following:

1. WS-128PS2/PS3 PCI ISDN Modem.

2. An ISDN line installed.

3. Your switch type, SPIDs, and phone numbers from your telephone 
   company.

4. A PC with Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 installed.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
----------------------

1. Go to "Control Panel", select "network".

2. If you do not have NT network installed, follow the setup wizard
   for the NT network setup.

3. Select "Adapter", then select "Add".

4. Do not use "Detect" command. Use "Select from the list" and select 
   "Have Disk".

5. Put the diskette labeled "Capi Beta8/NT4.0"
   into the floppy disk drive and type in the driver name.

6. Select "Tiger Jet Network ISDN Adapter". The Windows will copy the
   files from the diskette and open a dialog windows for the ISDN line
   information.

7. Select the proper switching type, Also type in the dialing numbers and 
   the SPIDs. If you have only one number, just type in the number on the 
   first set of the field, leave the second one blank. If your ISDN switch
   type do not support the SPID number, leave the SPID field empty.

8. If you do not have the service "Remote Access Service" installed. The
   Window will start to install the "Remote Access Service". Place the
   NT installation CD into the CD ROM and type in the path for it. The
   setup program will copy the file to install the service. 

9. If the "Remote Access Service" is installed, the setup will involve
   the "Remote Access Service" configuration. Select "TJISDN" for the
   "RAS Capable Devices". There will have two "ISDN" port available.
   Select both ISDN ports and you need to select the "Network" to 
   configure the network protocol which will be used for your network 
   application.

10. Select "Close" to finish the "Remote Access Service" setup and reboot
    the system.

11. Configure the "Dial-Up Networking" to use the "TJISDN" port for the
    dialing out. If you need to make 128K connection, select "All 
    available ISDN lines multi-linked".

12. You need to setup the "Server" inside the "Dial-Up Networking" for 
    the correct network connection. Now you are ready to use WS-128PS2/PS3 
    ISDN for the ISDN connection.

TO USER CAPI 2.0 APPLICATIONS
-----------------------------

    CAPI 2.0 driver is installed with NDISWAN driver and ready to be
    used with CAPI 2.0 Application. If you are using the CAPI application
    in US, you should change the "audio type" from A-law to U-law in
    Tiger.inf

