======== WINDOWS 95 UPGRADE NOTES ===================================

* This version of Ami Mouse 97 works with Windows 95 and Windows 3.1 only.
   Windows NT is not supported.

* The old Ami Mouse 97 will not work properly with Windows 95. If you had
previously installed Ami Mouse 97 onto Windows 3.1, then installed Windows 95,
the Ami Mouse 97 driver will no longer be selected. However, you may receive
a Driver Warning message that the Ami Mouse 97 driver is not found. To
eliminate this message manually, you may open the WIN.INI file in the
main windows directory and remove the LOADPRO.EXE command from the
LOAD= statement. Otherwise, you can simply install this
on top of your old installation. Do not try to run the Ami Mouse 97
Un-install program *after* you have upgraded to Windows 95.

* The Ami Mouse 97 installer will attempt to install the proper files in
the C:\AMI97 directory (or wherever your Windows drive is located).
It's usually best to take the Standard Install option.

* Ami Mouse 97 may not operate normally with some programs in Windows 95.
This is due to the changes in Windows 95 applications. Sometimes the
Side Button function to change applications will stop working. If this
happens, try clicking on a window or two with the mouse and then the
Side Button should begin working. This may be occur only after opening
some special "programs" like the Control Panel. You can recognize this
condition when you see a window appear on top of the screen but with
   its title bar not active.
Another way to re-enable switching is to scroll a few lines in the
current application using the roller and then try the side button. This
   will often do the trick.

* The Next Document button assignment does not always work in some 32-bit
programs. However, you may always use the Control key + Side Button
technique to achieve the same result.

* There are currently some problems with programs created with the Delphi
package. If SmartScrolling doesn't work, then set the roller to a function
   such as PageUp/Down Keys.

* If a program does not respond to SmartScroll, then try setting the roller
to do the PageUp/Down Keys function. This is useful in programs like Act!
or Quicken that have a list-type interface.
