Changes since v1.02 :

Tmerge :

- fixed big bug when merging files, causing inconsistency in new file.


Battle :

- new soundset added ! Thanks to Eric Petersen for his excellent
  and dedicated work.
- various improvements on AI. It will do called shots and move 
  a bit more intelligent in difficult terrain.
- changed the rank system. Now there are 8 instead of 4 ranks.
  They can be achieved by either gaining enough experience or
  by killing lots of enemies in one battle.
- added 4 more skill levels, now each level represents one rank.
- slightly handicapped the Gauss Cannon which was far superior
  to the Autocannon12. Increased heat, recycle time and minimum range.
- improved the Tesla Ray maximum range, added a minimum range.
- missiles can now extinguish fire of burning dense woods.
- dramatically reduced amount of money earned after battle.
- some xps are awarded just doing a combat. Now jocks can improve a
  bit even when not performing skill checks.
- fixed some minor bugs regarding messages and sounds.
- added message when jock is healed by life support.
- added message when damage is reduced by D.C.S.
- survival skill will reduce effect of damaged life support regarding
  shock absorption and excessive heat.
- break move/attack with 'O'ption window now ok for netgames.
- fixed bug when wrong jocks were placed on titans after battle.
- jump speed inreased for each jump port by 1 sec.
- center back torso for locked targets is displayed. 
- guided missiles to hit bonus reduced by 5%.
- move skill check in crouch performed at -5%.
- fixed two bugs which caused crashes in netgames.
- changed minimum ranges for all weapons. Those which had a min. range
  of 1 are reduced to 0, dropping the point blank bonus.
- added 'Get Info' for Lock Target popup window to check targets on
  map.
- slightly increased defensive modifiers for jump forward and dodge.
- added target temperature icon for very successful active scans.
- added threat level display at left frame border for selected titan.
- AI jock will eject if he has to fear engine explosion or cockpit hits. 
- reintroduced team weight modifications for random teams.
  (acolyte -20%, adept -10%, lama +10%, patriarch +20%).
- added ingame menue to toggle animations on/off as well as the
  speed of messages and sprites (key 'G', thats shift-g). 
- added toggle to display titans weapon range circles (key 'w').
- ejects are not allowed during jump.
- player teams are marked as in combat to avoid modification in hq.



HQ :

- fixed bug when selling titan. Jock was displayed riding two titans.
- primary/secondary attributes are displayed when selecting a skill. 
- current/total number of skills which can be improved are displayed.
- number of xps needed to advance to next rank are displayed.
- team battle stats displayed ( total fights, wins/losses ).
- fixed interface bug when more than 25 titans were in a single database.
- added leader skill. A good leader will attract better rookies.
  leadership / 10 is the maximum number of jocks a leader can recruit.
- added monthly salary for jocks and maintainance cost for titans.
  will be subtracted automatically after a battle. 
- changed tactics skill to recon and added functionality for it.
  recon skill will allow quicker movement in wooded/rough areas,
  keep scanner links more constant and is vital for getting better
  to hit numbers through scanner link with missiles.
- added jock transfer list. Now you can import jocks from other teams.
- teams out in battle can no longer be modified in hq as long as battle
  is not finished and team is saved. These teams can be retrieved from
  for 500000$
- added functionality to create tournament teams. You can set team money
  and initial development points for jocks. Hire a pseudo jock with name
  MONEY and callsign xxx ( xxx does stand for a number ) and your team
  will receive xxx $. Hire a pseudo jock with name SKILL and callsign
  xxx and all new jocks will start with xxx dev points in each skill
  category.
  These teams of course do not gain experience points or money from battles
  but can be used for set battles between human players.

  

Factory :

- fixed the bug with first chassis of the recon and last chassis of assault
  titans.
- enabled 'Pinboard' button, now you can evaluate your titan !
- fixed some bugs with armor installation.



Changes since v1.01 :

Tmerge :

- Added a small program to merge titan databases.

Battle :

- jock will no longer be burned after eject.
- keyboard double return bug fixed.
- fixed xp leak for active scans and attack on hexes or
  disabled enemies.
- AI will try to keep better distance with long range weapons.
- damaged engine power output displayed in stat screen.
- AI will gain slightly more tons in all skill levels.
  ( rookie : -10%, veteran +-0%, elite +10%, leader +20% )
- rookie AI will pick lighter titans with random teams.
- optimized titan picking for random teams.
- changes start position for team 2 in games with 3 teams.
- fixed bug where last assault titans in file was never choosen
  by random teams.
- added +5% to hit modifier for titans attacking in crouch.
- slightly increased to hit penalty for target speed.
- increased guided missile protection from each E.C.M by 5%.
- tweaked some enegy weapon data and swapped amount of guided
  and short range missile racks missiles.
- fixed crash in netgames when no scanner link is selected in 
  popup window.
- fixed bug where you could fire on prone titans with direct fire
  weapons though you could only detect them by scanner.
- mo more xps for skill checks performed on dead/disabled enemies.
- combat xps for hit on prone enemy are halved.
- weapon locations are displayed on attack popup window.
- burning woods will add constant, not random height for visibilty.
- reduced jock damage and move skill check chance for small damages.
- fixed small display glitches for scanner links.
- tried to fix queue errors and missing buttons after 'O'ption key.
- AI will try to avoid fire on crippled opponents .


HQ :

- added save team option in main menu.
- display of jocks titan in his stats screen.


Factory:

- hopefully chassis bug removed.
- modified team titans are saved with back button.
- multiple ammo slots are correctly removed with weapon.
- text glitches corrected.
