================================================================

   Twin Mesas, TX (pop. 824), is a quiet town that makes its living mostly
by selling donuts, auto parts, and gasoline to drivers passing through. The
good people of Twin Mesas don't want trouble--but then maybe they shouldn't
have built their town on the highway.

   This is a large map, but if you stay near the roads and the town you then
won't get lost. The town is in the center, where a four-lane east-west
highway meets a smaller north-south local road. The eight spawn points are
all on the outskirts. The most obvious terrain features are the two mesas
that overlook Twin Mesas; they both offer nice views and good sniping
positions. The highway is long enough for extended chases (but do watch the
road signs). This would probably be a good map for playing Cops-and-Robbers
or Capture-the-Fugitive. ("Them Duke boys is always causing trouble!")
There is one Regen bunker, although the approach to it is easily guarded.
Well, the ground approach, that is...

   This map started as an attempt to play around with objects, and there are
a lot of them here. Slower machines might want to turn down some details.
