The Russian Revolution
Released September, 1996

This is my second scenario, and I hope it is as enjoyable as my first.
This scenario boasts a custom map, but unfortunately it's distorted,
as I had to make things weird sizes, so cities and certain landforms
aren't quite in the right place. A small accident erased the map from my
drive, so the map is only available in the scenario. I tried to include
the most influential of the groups in the period of the November
Revolution. Unfortunately, I wanted to change the graphics files, but
still have not found a good editor that doesn't need to convert files.
Certain new technologies were added to give certain civilizations an
edge over others, or to represent things that were possessed by some
countries, but not by others; a perfect example is Leninism. I tried to
be true to life on the dynamics of the scenario, but had to do guesswork
on the map and guesswork on other certain aspects in the game. There is
only one Wonder in the game, and this is Trotsky's War Academy, enjoyed
by the Bolsheviks and by no one else. Militarily, I had to do quite a few
guesstimates on the size of the forces controlled by the leaders. Don't
expect the Czech legion or the French to stay around long. During
playtesting, these two groups got into trouble fast and ended up in
bad spots, namely the French against the superior Germans and the pitiful
Czech Legion against the Provisional Government. If you have any trouble
with this scenario, or suggestions for things that need fixed, contact me
at Trotsky@gnn.com. I plan to release another scenario probably in
October. Wait for it. This scenario suffers the same limitations as the
first; that is, I require your feedback on the scenario if you acquire
and use it. Unfortunately I cannot enforce this, but depend on your
responsibility as a user to send me feedback, so I can improve on downfalls
or limitations in the next scenario or next version of a current scenario.
Thanks again.

Also, I plan on including all of my scenarios on my home page, which is at
http://members.gnn.com/trotsky/trot.htm. They should be up in a little
while.
