  1. Beginners Guide (begin.txt)
     If this is the first time you have encountered the WAD special effects, I
     suggest you read the beginners guide. Please note that the beginners guide
     doesn't cover EXE hacking.

  2. Neat Design (neat.txt)
     This is not really special effects. Only some neat design tricks
       1.  Door on top of lift
          This is also known as "Hallways that pass without holes in the floor"

  3. SKY effects (sky.txt)
     There are a lot of things to accomplish with the F_SKY texture.
       1.  SKY Door

       5.  Low Buildings in Courtyard
       6.  Non-repeating F_SKY

  4. Special Effects (special.txt)
     This is the "real" special effects. Here you need to make sectors that
     aren't closed and other "illegal" stuff to be able to achieve the desired
     effects.
       1.  The Deep Water effect

       3.  Invisible Lift
       4.  Non-convex Invisible Areas
       5.  The Transparent Door effect
       6.  The Solid Window effect

  5. DeHackEd Grabbag of Special Effects (grabbag.txt)
     If you're interested in EXE hacking, here you will find a description of
     some of the special effects developed so far. As I know nothing about EXE
     hacking myself, Lee Gaiteri (a.k.a. Lummox JR) has written this page. DHE
     can be found at ftp.luth.se or from ftp.cdrom.com (look in the "patches"
     directory for DHE patches).

If you want to find out how to make special effects with monster behaviour
without changing the DOOM exe, I suggest you read the RMB manual. If you know

I suggest you also read the "files.txt", where each file has a short 
description.
