To Use VB Add Sound:

Click the ADD button if you want to Add the sound events for a specific program. Search through your computer for the program file (.exe) that runs the program. Select the program and click OK and it will be added to the Control Panel Sounds section. No sounds will be initially available so to actually add the sounds, you need to go to Control Panel Sounds and assign a sound file (.wav) to the new entry that VB Add Sound entered there. Some sounds events can conflict with the normal System wide sound events but usually the individual program settings still work.
Click the Delete Button to Delete an entry from the Control Panel Sounds Section. (Use caution because some programs add special events that if deleted, will not be able to be replaced unless you re-install that program. Normally, you would want to Delete only entries that you have added from this program.) Pick a program from the List that you want added and click OK; All events for that program will be Deleted.

If you do like or at least have a use for this program, the only thing I ask is that you download and evaluate one of my Shareware programs. The 2 shareware programs I have out at the time this was written are:

NOTE about Registry Back_Up:
This program Reads and Writes entries in the Win95 System Registry.
Any time you are going to make changes to the Registry, (Which IS what this program does.), You should make a back_up of the registry PRIOR to making any cahnges just in case.

To make a back_up of the Win95 System Registry:

Click Start Button
Click Run... Button
Type in the open Box: regedit and click OK

Now The Win95 Registry Editor should be loaded.

Click the Menu: Registry
Click the Sub Menu: Export Registry Item
Select The Destination you want for the Back_Up File
Type In any name you want
Select ALL
Click OK

That File is your Back_Up and can be restored if needed by following the above directions again but instead of Export, you would select Import and pick the file you saved.

The restored file would put your computer back to the state it was in at the time the back_up was made but obviously would NOT include any changes made since that time so it should be used for emergency recovery only.
