Drifting Windows Prank

Description: Makes all your windows drift around the screen (every 5 seconds a single window will move just a pixel or
         two), guarenteed to make someone think they are going crazy or have a virus. This one is nice, to get rid of
         it all you have to do is activate it with [alt][tab]. 

         NOTE: Windows 95 will display it on the taskbar. You can still work or play while it is running. If it starts
         off as an icon, it will wait a random number of milliseconds before activating.

Requires Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 3.5.x, Windows NT 4.0

Installation instructions for Windows 95 or NT 4.0

    1) Extract drifting.exe to a directory
    2) Execute drifting from Explorer (or the DOS Prompt)
        (ie. go to the directory where you put it and double click on the drifting)

Installation instructions for Windows 3.x or NT 3.x

    1) Extract drifting.exe to a directory
    2) Execute drifting from File Manager (or the DOS Prompt)
        (ie. go to the directory where you put it and double click on the drifting)


To stop the prank:
    In Windows 3.x: 
	hit [ctrl][esc] to bring up the Task
        Manager and use the arrow keys to move down to the
        prank, then hit [alt][e] to end the task. 

    In Windows 95: hit [ctrl][alt][del] to bring up the Task
        Manager and use the arrow keys to move down to the
        prank, then hit [alt][e] to end the task. 


Note:  To Drifting Windows fire off everytime Windows is started, 

    In Windows 3.x:     (copy drifting.exe to the StartUp Group in Program Manager)
	Goto the Main Group
	double click on File Manager
	goto the directory where you extracted drifting.exe 
	press and hold the control key 
		while you left click and drag drifting.exe to the StartUp group

    In Windows 95:	(copy drifting.exe to the StartUp Folder)
	right click on the Start button
	select Explore (this will startup Explorer in the "Start Menu"
	double click on Programs
	double click on StartUp
	now copy drifting.exe here

    In Windows NT4.0:   (copy drifting.exe to the StartUp Folder)
	Use Explorer to drill down to 
	<windows nt directory>/profiles/<user name>/"Start Menu"/Programs/StartUp
	now copy drifting.exe here


To uninstall simply delete drifting.exe from your machine.
