Run

Sensiva Help Home > Customize Sensiva > Creating and Editing an Action > Run

Within Run, you can set Sensiva to execute any program or open any document stored on your disk or network.

Run
Here you select the program or document that you would like to view. There are two ways of selecting what is run.

By browsing for a program or document
Click the Browse button located to the right of the run field and select the program you want to launch.

By using a drag and drop operation
From Windows Explorer or any other file manager, drag the icon of a program, document, or shortcut to the Action Editor dialog box. Edit fields will be automatically filled.

There are also options for how Sensiva runs programs.

Window List
Here, you can select if a launched program is displayed as a normal, minimized, or maximized window.

Wait Button
By clicking this toggle-state button (located above the Add button), you can stop the execution of the rest of the commands in the action until the launched program is completely loaded and ready. This is an important feature when the command list contains more than one command. For instance, in a multitask environment this avoids executing an action of typing text in a word processor before the program has been completely loaded. Warning:If this button is On, you must type in the entire path of the program you want to run (i.e. C:\Program Files\Accessories\MSPaint.exe instead of just MSPaint.exe).

Click the "Add" button to add this command to the list.
